Description
We will meet professor Michele Bugliesi, president of Fondazione Di Venezia, a banking foundation established in 1992 following the privatisation of Cassa di Risparmio di Venezia. It has a non-profit legal status and, by statute, it pursues its mission by promoting the development of the cultural heritage and economic life of of Venice and its territory. Over the years, Fondazione di Venezia has moved from being the purely grant-awarding organization it originally was, taking a more active role as the initiator and promoter of concrete actions of social and cultural development. The aim of the Foundation, in particular through the action of its companies, entities and SPV participations, has been to support initiatives capable of bringing together a number of resources and players, according to an operational model designed to create social entrepreneurial initiatives and the implementation of institutional partnerships.
